Revitalisation project for the KfW banking group, Berlin

The KfW banking group has commissioned Apleona R&M Ausbau with the interior fitout of its business location at Charlottenstrasse 33/33a in Berlin-Mitte. Work on this listed building opposite the Gendarmenmarkt began in July of this year.

During the course of this project, Apleona R&M Ausbau will be creating a modern “open-space” concept throughout the majority of the building.

New system and cooling ceilings will be fitted, various types of flooring (carpets, linoleum, tiles etc.) laid, drywall and glass partitions constructed and all doors replaced. Apleona R&M Ausbau Berlin GmbH is also implementing a range of construction measures designed to optimise fire safety in the building. Apleona R&M Ausbau has additionally been commissioned to supply the furnishings in the section of the building where the Management Board will be based.

The work is expected to last eight months.
