Arabeska, Munich
The Arabeska office building in the district of Bogenhausen is a true one-off that brings a whole new architectural flair to the Arabella Park.
The investor and client for this roughly 50,400 m2 building complex is Bayerische Ärzteversorgung, one of twelve pension funds offered by the Bayerische Versorgungskammer. A separate residential building with 28 apartments and a crèche was built on the complex next to the office building.
The entire building complex is characterised by its upscale appointments and is dominated by exclusive, eco-friendly materials, distinct forms and extravagant details. Light-filled office space with floor-to-ceiling window elements and innovative ventilation systems offer all the comfort you can expect of a state-of-the-art workplace designed to evoke a feel-good atmosphere.
To fulfil the high design requirements, a separate cooling ceiling in combination with blackened expanded metal soffits was developed for the restaurant area.
The turnkey fitout of the two ground-floor conference areas involved, among other measures, the delivery and installation of acoustically effective wooden wall panelling and wooden ceilings as well as mobile partitions and upscale furnishings.
The property received gold-standard DGNB certification for the sustainability of its fitout and for its technical building equipment.
